Like Claude Monet, “I must have flowers, always, and always.” So anytime I need to throw together a quick arrangement, I reach for a few simple ingredients: garden roses, spray roses and one of these amazing hobnail pitchers. That’s why for today’s #FridayFlowerFix, I bring you this pink and purple beauty in one of Amy favorite go-to vessels.

What I love about arranging flowers in a pitcher that is this shape in particular is that you’re able to get that dome of flowers on top very easily because it has such a bulbus bottom to it.
There is no need to add any extra mechanics such as tape or chicken wire to get a beautiful arrangement.
All you need is a good set of floral shears, a couple dozen beautiful roses and 15 minutes or so.
And would you believe that all the roses featured in this arrangement were all picked up at a local grocery store?
