Arrangement of the Week Alert!
True story: I am a summer girl, through and through. You won’t catch me voluntarily swooning over pumpkin spice lattes or cozy cabin vibes. My heart beats for the bursting colors and everlasting light of spring and summer.
However, I don’t actually live on a tropical island, which means I can’t have summery brights decorating the house all year round. I’ve had to figure out a way to make our home feel just as joyful when the days get shorter and the temperatures drop.
Enter: jewel tones.

There’s something so incredibly luxurious and inviting about a table layered with gorgeous, textured flowers in deep, saturated hues. It’s like bringing a little bit of sophisticated drama into the house, and it absolutely banishes my winter decorating blues.
It’s this kind of palette that inspired this week’s featured arrangement, complete with the jade Ram’s Head bowl I picked up on a recent trip to Pigeon Forge and rich, fuchsia flowers.
When I stumbled upon this incredible bowl at that antique shop in TN, I knew before I even swiped my card what kind of magic I wanted to create: an asymmetrical arrangement bursting with rich, pink flowers.

And oh, did the flower gods smile upon me! It was still Winter Peony season, so I lucked out with some stunning, fluffy peonies that were begging to be the stars of the show. To complement, I tucked in some exquisite garden roses and a few, ruffly carnations for a finishing touch.
The combination of those deep pink petals against the cool, striking teal color of the bowl was just *chef’s kiss*. It was everything I envisioned: vibrant, unexpected, and utterly captivating.
If you’re a fellow summer lover struggling with winter decor, trust me on this one. Dive into the world of jewel tones. Find a unique vessel, pick some richly colored blooms, and let those deep, saturated hues bring a little unexpected magic and warmth into your home. It might just turn you into a winter decorating convert, just like me!
